At Wild Rose we know the Eden Valley is one of the most beautiful places in the country, so when it came to creating our park we didn’t try to reinvent the wheel.

Local limestone has been used by craftsmen to make traditional stone walls, and throughout the park plantings of Birch, Elder, Rowan, Hazel and Wild Cherry create good habitats for wildlife and are in keeping with the local environment.  We have also set aside a special wildlife conservation area as a haven for local species which range from hedgehogs and red squirrels to woodpeckers and buzzards. 

The park is surrounded by established hedgerows, which are alive with colour, Blackthorn in the spring, Wild Rose and Gelder Rose in the summer and Blackberries and Crab Apples in the autumn. We also ensure the park is in bloom throughout spring and summer with Snow Drops, Daffodils and Tulips.
