These good neighbourliness rules are for the protection of all Holiday Home owners enjoyment of Wild Rose.  They are framed from twenty five years experience and, you can be assured, they have been kept to an absolute minimum.

  1. NOISE after half past ten is definitely not welcome.

  2. For obvious reasons of hygiene and health, dogs must be kept under control on a SHORT LEAD except when using the dog exercise area.  They must not be allowed to soil the ground within the boundaries of the Park and should not be left unattended in your Holiday Home.  In addition, we do not accept DANGEROUS DOGS.
  3. It is very unfair to some - but experience tells us that unaccompanied teenagers can be trouble. So, sadly, they are not invited to stay.

  4. Barbecues can be used but must not be allowed to smoke and cause annoyance to others.

  5. Bikes are a potential hazard; they can only be ridden on the roads of the Park in accordance with the Highway Code. Parents, please help!

  6. Washing may be hung only in the drying green on Braithwaite Fold or on window racks.  Please, no washing lines and nothing to be hung on trees.

  7. There is a strict speed limit of 10mph for all motor vehicles on the Park and only holders of full licences  may drive a vehicle on the Park.

  8. Children and non swimmers must be accompanied by adult swimmers when using the swimming pool and small children must be supervised by adults when using the paddling pool. Adults must not bathe alone.

  9. Ball games must only be played In the areas designated for amenity use. Footballs must not be used in the badminton court.

  10. Radio’s, T.V’s and musical instruments may not be used so as to annoy others and never outside you Holiday Home.

  11. The land surrounding Wild Rose is private farm land not belonging to the Park.  Under no circumstances may it be walked over or in other ways trespassed upon.  Those who do so will be asked to leave.  There is a wonderful network of little lanes, bridle ways and public footpaths, please keep to them.

  12. No Holiday Home or pitch may be used by any person other than the Licensee, the members of his immediate family or his day visitors, without the written consent of the Park Owners.  For safety reasons, details of guests using your Holiday Home, must be reported to reception. The owner must comply with their Site Licence, that the holiday home can not be occupied for 28 consecutive days in any 36 day period by any one person.

  13. No huts, gazebos or extensions to homes are allowed other than approved veranda’s.

  14. All Holiday Homes must have a fire blanket/fire extinguisher readily available and of a sensible size.

  15. No trade, profession or business may at any time be carried out from your Holiday Home at Wild Rose.

  16. When the summer season ends in the autumn, you are responsible for draining down the entire water system of your holiday home.  We will however, do this for you and reconnect in the spring, on a time and materials basis if given not less than 2 weeks notice in writing.

  18. All owners of Holiday Homes on Wild Rose must send to the Park Owners, for their information, any notice received which is likely to affect the Park, including any notice relating to any rating proposal in respect of a pitch or Holiday Home.

  19. In most instances, space is provided near to your Holiday Home for one car.  Please think of your neighbours if you have more than one car with you be prepared to move ‘extra’ cars so as to leave them room.  We can always find somewhere for them if necessary.
