Here at Wild Rose we certainly don’t believe in rules for the sake of rules, but some things are important for everybody’s enjoyment of the park:
- Noise after half past ten is definitely not welcome.
-
For obvious reasons of hygiene and health, dogs must be kept under control on a short lead except when using the dog exercise area. They must not be allowed to soil the ground within the boundaries of the Park and should not be left unattended in your caravan or tent. We do not accept dangerous such as: Rotweilers, Pit bull Terriers, Dobermans, etc.
-
It is very unfair to some - but unaccompanied teenagers – sadly are not invited to stay.
-
Barbecues are allowed so long as they do not cause annoyance to other customers, they must not be used directly on the ground and must be disposed of in the allocated bins.
-
Bikes are a potential hazard; they can only be ridden on the roads of the Park in accordance with the Highway Code. Parents, please help!
-
Washing may be hung only in the drying green on Braithwaite Fold or on window racks. Please, no washing lines and nothing to be hung on trees.
-
Pitch Allocation is done when customers arrive. We are unable to book particular pitches or pitches together. Unfortunately we do not accept group bookings (more than two units).
-
Caravan ground sheets. With increasing popularity, and increasing use, our grass areas are suffering ‘awning fatigue’. Therefore, ground sheets on the grass areas are only allowed if the awning is being used for sleeping accommodation. Please also roll up awning skirts during the day to allow the ground to breath.
-
There is a strict speed limit of 10mph for all vehicles on the Park and only holders of full licences may drive a vehicle on the Park.
-
Children and non swimmers must be accompanied by adult swimmers when using the swimming pool and small children must be supervised by adults when using the paddling pool. Adults must not bathe alone.
-
Ball games must only be played on the designated amenity areas.
-
Radio’s, T.V’s and musical instruments may not be used so as to annoy others and never outside your caravan or tent.
-
The land surrounding Wild Rose is private farm land not belonging to the Park. Under no circumstances may it be walked over or in other ways trespassed upon. Those who do so will be asked to leave the park. There is a wonderful network of little lanes, bridle ways and public footpaths please keep to them.
-
Customers are responsible for the safety of their personal property.
-
Touring Caravans are not allowed to be used as the owners main or only residence, they are only permittted to be used for leisure purposes.
-
Permission to use the Caravan Park or its facilities may be refused and a visitor may be requested to leave without reason being given by the owners.
THE ABOVE REGULATIONS are for the mutual benefit of us all; there are a few additional rules which apply only to those who have a holiday caravan on the park, or who leave their touring caravan here for a long stay. If you would like to be aware of them, please ask at reception.
